2022-02-11 at 6:33 PM UTCEverytime I exit a freeway, the light is red and there is that homeless person.. and right when the light turns green the person at the front decides then to give money to the person. not during the red light. it happened two times in a row yesterday. one coming off I-80 and one time coming off I-580.
they use that money to buy drugs but not just to use but to sell to other people.
if you want to feed the homeless, hand them a bag of bananas or other foods. stop giving them money

Had a friend who accidentally drove into the Bronx and stopped at a red light and a bunch of hoods ran out and asked for money, and when he took out his wallet to give them a few dollars they tried to snatch his wallet, so he stamped down on the accelerator and two of them were hanging out the window. He pulled some fishtails and finally flung them off at high speed.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

You know the Bronx was heavily gentrified but now the hoodrats are moving back in. it's starting to become as violent as the 70s all over again. Rudy Giuliani cleaned that place up in the late 1990s from what I was reading (heard) anyways, its rolling back to old days.
That being said The Bronx also has a very large neighborhood that is expensive with mansions. there is a very wealthy community in that city. I wonder what its like to be living in a mansion and have to drive into Manhattan past all the druggies and people trying to rob you at a red light. Those are the tough Elite. they hard core Old Money -
