7 and a half fucking hours!? Jesus, I thought mine was weirdly long.

'Our dishwasher is so effective at getting your dishware SPARKLING CLEAN, that you need to leave it running for a quick and efficient FOUR STRAIGHT HOURS, and Voila! You will be AMAZED!'
I get that a home appliance might take a bit longer than a commerical one, but UHHHHHHH, a dishwashing machine in a restaurant, even the older shittier ones, take like 2 minutes and they just have two spinny bars, one on top and one and bottom. They have a quick sanitize/wash cycle and then a rinse cycle. Literally no more than 3 minutes total, usually less. These fuckers get the dishes clean and not only that, they get inspected by health and food inspectors usually twice annually, so it's not like they aren't doing a good job. All the chemical levels need to be just perfect otherwise they'd FLAG YOU for it.
So why the fuck does a personal dishwashing machine take 4 hours let alone even 1 hour?
These commercial machines, mind you, don't do any pre wash or anything like that either. I mean you try to spray the dishes down before you put them in to HELP a bit but I assure you there are a fuck ton of lazy dishwashers that will just send a rack of completely dirty dishes in without even trying to spray them off or preclean them a little bit first, and they'll usually come out mostly clean (not always). And even if they don't come out clean, they'll just run the same load again until it is, but no matter what it never takes more than two times and like I said it's normally one time.
It's because most normal people run it when they go to bed lol. -

2022-02-10 at 10:52 PM UTCMy dish washer set to extra-clean goes for a whopping astounded 17 hours it's a bosh and it's very stylish and no you can not use it to wash YOUR dishes it's for crawlspace and associates only
But I'll be honest I was taken aback when I was waiting on my caserole dish for 17 hrs but hey it was clean like they said -
2022-02-10 at 11:06 PM UTCAnd I thought mine was stupid long.

2022-02-10 at 11:06 PM UTCIf you only do one wash a day then it doesn't matter.

2022-02-10 at 11:23 PM UTCHell, I usually only do one load or so in a week, but I never put my pots and pans in the dishwasher. They take up too much room. I always wash my pots and pans by hand.
It's called a DISHwasher for a reason! -
2022-02-11 at 12:28 AM UTCI do what mmQ does. I just buy them and then throw them away and buy more.
