Yes, I can. I used to fight with a satellite group of the SCA called the Tuchux. The SCA were the knights in shining armor and we were barbarians in boiled leather. (This was not cosplay. It was full contact, no choreography and solid rattan weapons.)We used to fuck around with the SCA dogs and talk in a guttural fashion with only three sounds. But, based on inflection, knowing one another, along with hand movements, facial expressions, and eye movement we could communicate surprisingly complex messages without the SCA having a clue. -

Would this be before or after you hit them with your cane? -

2017-04-21 at 9:08 AM UTCI lived under a bridge for a while. No electricity, no modern amenities other than cell phone, car and gun.
It wasn't too bad, only thing that sucked was the boredom, which led to drinking and drugs, which led to trouble. I can't imagine the ancient times being much different other than the whole world was like that, so people didn't look down on you because of it
And people didn't live near as long as they do today. So by the time they were done with wars or hunting or whatever their job was, they probably died before they could get too bored -

It wasn't too bad,
it wasnt too bad becos the people around you have already been vaccinated with modern technology/medicine. Becos wild and dangerous beasts that normally populate that area has already been depopulated and taken care of, by modern technology.
try move to a burmese jungle or something. -

Originally posted by Malice Dude, life was so fucking bad back then. You have no idea. Damn near everyone lived an extremely shitty life. Until relatively recently (internet/digital age) I most likely would have committed suicide by this point. Not that it's a bad thing, just opting out of a bad deal, a fool's errand.
you don't know what you're on about malice. before the internet everybody went out more, associated more, got along more, fighted more, fucked more, played more. and people were way more happier because of it. we din't all sit behind a screen constantly living in fear of what fox.com or dailymailonline constantly scare mongered us all about, making everyone fear and resent each other. people generally weren't so hooked on materialism and obsessed with having all these latest things and gadgets coz we weren't exposed to so much advertising making everyone think they had to have all these items to be happy and fit in with everyone else in the first place. its fucking sad how post digital people can't grasp the concept of how good life was before the internet. just because it was different to what you know doesn't automatically mean it was bad. maybe you wouldn't have been so scared of the world and your fellow man if you were forced to participate malice. you'd most likely realize that all those fears you harbor are completely over exaggerated.
