Well, in her case she probably spent her whole life trying to be Miss USA, and once it happened she viewed life as all down hill has her looks faded and shit.
In regards to most millenials, it's because they spend the first 3 decades of their lives getting everything handed to them, then hit their 30s and their parents aren't able to support them as effectively, they realize how much they've wasted their life up until that point, realize their college fun days of banging random tight hot college girls are over, realize they fucked themselves out of retiring on millions because they never started that IRA that was such a scam, realize the friends they thought would be there forever haven't talked to them in 7 years, realize that BEST case scenario at that point is they get a degree by the time their almost 40 and retire at 60 all alone in some shitty house they still owe 15 years of their life too, and they kill themselves.
TL/DR: They're having a midlife crisis and can't cope with it the way men used to because they really don't have anything going for them even after experiencing a realistic 1/3 of their life.
