Genders don't exist because of sexism and treating different sexes differently isn't sexism. FFS.
It is a fact of our society that we have 2 genders. This is not a biological fact, it's a social fact because you don't check someone's dick before you categorize them as a man or vice versa. This fact empirically has a high correlation to a biological fact about your chromosomes. This is because the traits associated with that category have a high correlation to biological sex. Nevertheless there is no essential connection between them: you can be born with XY chromosomes and have "feminine" hips for example. That doesn't mean you are not a male. But usually males have narrower hips. If you are born into the male sex, you will usually fall into the social role of a man, as a matter of fact, but there's no essential connection between the two, even though there is a real and significant correlation between them.
You can see this social fact being obeyed in how basically 100% of the time you look at the way they look and act and quickly place them into that category for a social function. Don't go "oh please", just admit it as a fact: what you're doing is looking at someone and putting them in a category, for the sake of convenience because that's how most of us end up categorising ourselves, based on their visible traits.
The question YOU have to answer is why you think it's illegitimate for one to be allowed to fall into the other when there is no essential connection between them falling exactly as they do.
