   COD Warzone will probably remain multiplat and updated but guns from new games will have to be grinded rather than coming with purchase of the new game because it won't be available on the platform. That will funnel Warzone players towards Xbox platforms where the new COD games are available while still keeping their cashcow Warzone openly available.

People buy whatever is the best value to play the games they want to play. Games like COD, TES, DOOM etc are all blockbusters that move people to buy a nextgen system at all and when they do, the one that has the most they want will be the one they get. Period.

    Making a good game is not a smart investment because even if the game is good that doesn't mean it will sell well. You need to make sure the game is profit no matter what which means less time making the game good and more time making it profitable and ON SCHEDULE so you can have a new call of duty every year.
