honestly, that would make an awesome script.
I wanted to build false building fronts on it like they do in LALA Land Hollywood. like a film studio. but I wanted to purchase 20 acres for that. but they had deed issues.
so it fell through. but I was going to partly live on it and rent it out to filmmakers. Build like a block of NYC old shit like the one in Hollywood. But everything is mostly out of steel scrap. and just do tiny welds to build it sturdy.
and then maybe an old ghost town. Again, steel or aluminum scrap. anything that won't catch fire and i get sued to high hell.
but shit that doesn't require permits because they're just Art pieces.
It wouldn't be a big moneymaker but it would possibly involve me in some decent films being made on the property. and maybe just push a tuff-shed up against the false fronts on the backside to let people live in. again 120sf to 200sf is usually common for not needing building permits. but they may have a limit on tiny structures.
my 400sf sections will need them. I think they're kind of expensive (Building permits). some cities in Cali is 10k and others are about 1k

On my 6 month old back deck/porch. someone did it. it burned down to the shit and base of the bag.
didn't catch the deck on fire. I went out to power wash it and give it its second protective stain coating. that shit didn't blow over the fence onto it. it had a burn mark on my deck.
Cops didn't respond unless its happening in real-time.
