How long can you leave an infection before it's bad

2022-01-13 at 8:36 PM UTCI did it at home while drunk
The polysporin helped a lot that shit is actually amazing. It looks like a cat stabbed me with a claw now but 2 days ago the pus wasn't dry it was just a bare open hole on my hand leaking pus and red all around it
I didn't take a pic because I thought it would be rude to force someone to see that. I don't think I even need a bandaid anymore -
2022-01-13 at 8:39 PM UTCI get cuts and burns all the time from work. I rarely use a bandaid unless it's necessary to stop the bleeding, and probably haven't used an actual disenfectant or ointment or whatever the fuck since I was a kid. I like to let my wounds breath and heal naturally.

2022-01-13 at 8:48 PM UTCI have a jug of anti septic I made myself about three years, took me most of a summer. But I can heal things that I shouldn't be able to heal. I was stabbed in the hand in September and had a leaking wound for about 12 hours, then I went fishing, poaching, trapping, etc. So for days this thing kept being reopened, covered in grime/fish/blood, then covered, etc over and over again for about a week. Treated twice with my potion.
Now I have a 2mmx16mm scar and all the feeling (which was temporarily numb) came back to my thumb. -

No its extremely time consuming and it resulted in a pint of liquid. I consider this to be one of my important belongings. I've done other shit with it, but I don't want to devolve the times I treat people at home rather than advising them to get treatment but it treats
Burns,
abrasions,
cuts (lacerations),
punctures,
road rash,
ur bitch ass attitude,
localized infections.
Keeps in and out wounds really clean too. -
