    No, it would not help, and it would be a terrible idea. It's a given that the power will be abused. We already know this for a fact from the history of former BBSs, and the keyword there is definitely former. They're not going to just disable accounts which spam, they're going to harass valid content and ban accounts they don't agree with, play favorites, overreact, and all the rest that goes with. I mean, you are a prime example of this, and yet you are the one expected to pick the person to do this job properly? Not a chance.
