Seriously though, I've been thinking about this is the past 5 minutes; what was Oldberg's best move here? I'm assuming that he has from the time he sees the car stop to react.
So the first opportunity he has to sense danger is right there, hood age bigger stops a car near you and no one is around. I don't care if you're the hardest old black man, if a youngish bigger rides up and stops near you, specially in a place that seems as deserted as the video does, you turn and try to muster up all the life you can into your legs, and run. At that point it's not a drive by, but it's probably some shit that's about to get started.
But IMO, that is assuming too much; it's possible he's walked this neighbourhood a billion times and sees no cause for alarm from a car stopping. Maybe it's someone setting their GPS.
The next opportunity is when he actually gets out. This is just bad shit in general, it's not likely he's trying to ask you for directions. Again, this would be where I would start walking the way I came if I was him, if not already running.
But perhaps it's someone just trying to talk shit, in the hood, showing weakness can be what kills you.
So let's roll forward, there is no way to not see shit is about to get done to you when he says "what's about to happen to you". This is IMO the do or die moment; it appears that he has not drawn his gun yet, and was just starting to go for it after he said that, and you should be aware that this encounter is at minimum going to be an ass beating.
So this is the interesting moment; what was his best move here?

I'm still thinking offensively here. He has close to no chance at surviving by running IMO. Better than standing there with his hands up. I think his best bet in terms of action is to go for him as hard as possible with the cane. He doesn't seem physically capable of being spry, but that's the best I can think of; he only has one hand free and it might a cause him to freak and fuck his "cold killa hard G oh shit nigga" narrative and cause him to either turn and run, or if not, at least you won't go down like a bitch.
But the only thing I can see which might allow him to potentially escape unhurt is tongue-fu. But without hindsight and the knowledge we have, in that moment, what could he say? Maybe yell "there's a cop!"? That could buy him like 3 seconds. Or something like "hey I think I know your mother". Or since he gave him a name, call Joy a bitch and say you know her mother? Idk. I'm trying to think of a move.
