kids murdering and robbing at 12-13 has been a thing since the dawn of humans.. even in the 90s in the inner city it was common for kids to commit murders/robberies. Society actually over time has become more civil. 150 years ago a 13 year old would already be out of school, working full time, having children, etc. Not to mention humans in general have become more civil in a gradual rate every century. The only reason people think other wise is because they are naive as children, and are not aware of what is really going on in this world. Social Media/internet also played a huge part in how much humans see other affected parts of the world. but in reality its nothing new, and it still is improving every year. -

I was 15 at the time. 1981 or some shit. that is always a thing. same with blacks. Single black kid in a white neighborhood (as in older lower middle class of white kids) might of pounded on them for being in the wrong neighborhood. but we're talking way beyond 30 years ago.
I'm going by the news and youtube runs of white dudes getting stabbed or punched for no reason in the Northern UK area by African immigrants. or Paki or arab (or some middle eastern country) where they're just losing their minds and trashing the property. "I'm studying to be a doctor" and trashing the house with his flat mate.

I guess they raised the age since 1979 or 1980 (regarding me and Californians) that you could work at age 13 or above doing dishwashing work or things at that level of employment. you had to get a card from California Employment Department. the parent had to sign. I too did dishwashing every summer until I hit 15 and moved up to bussing tables (shared tips) to a server. I was making more in tips than minimum wage which was probably 2.90 cents an hour back then. I was making take-home pay near 30 in tips (That's after sharing it with everyone)
a Sea Food restaurant. I actually got hit on by some older MILF (or Young Grandmom good-looking) types. stuffing a 10 in my pocket with a phone number. I felt sexually abused and aroused at the same time. I was very confused. -

It's definitely not 13 here, pretty sure it's 15 across the board and even that has so many limitations and restrictions that most places just don't bother hiring under 16. The only exception I know of from all those shitty labor law manuals I saw as a manager is weird agricultural farm work of some kind where the child is employed by the family. -

You never see children delivering newspapers anymore. they stopped that. My first job as a News Paper delivery boy was age 12.
I would have to go collect money too. the richest people don't like to part with their money, and give no Christmas bonus with sweets like the middle class do.
Rich people are scum and the route I was on was called the "Gold Coast" with some estate homes. good luck. them and the swinger condos by the beach. this was probably 1976
