I like how pocketed little bohemian coves going back to the 1910s-30s way before the Beatnik and Hippy era of San Francisco had made these artworks and carved into stones and old Native American art work and over the years-mostly in the last 20 years, the whole area is just shitty tagging. not even gang tag but just stupid bubble graffiti or just chicken scribbles and destroying 100 year old Bohemian art. even Albert Einstein was said to have painted some of the rocks here when he was teaching at CaL and living in Berkeley. and people like Jack London and all kinds of poets and people of the art scene lived or were beach bums right here just a few miles from where I live. Now it's just the same people who do sideshows but sideshows was always a thing. now it's sideshows with gunfire afterward. like once everyone takes off, a few shitheads will lean out the car and shoot random people to death when given a heads up the cops are on their way. It's not even 2 groups had an exchange of words like 30 years ago. it's just shooting people on the way out. rob people. mob smash and grab stores and parked cars over the weekend. it's becoming more and more common in larger and larger groups. ever since the Goerge Floyd incident and even prior to the Ferguson incident that predated Floyd. motha fuckas robbing people on the street and sometimes shooting them after they hand over their shit. carjack a mother fucker but instead of just saying "Thanks.. I'll leave the keys in it.. they shoot you on the way out.
we hear more and more random shooting at night. just pop pop pop. its not fireworks. its clearly gun. the cops show up in 5-10 minutes because they have censors on lightpoles that send cops out whenever they happen. usually its on the freeway which is why people are getting shot on the freeway near us all the fucking time.
Gigi wants to see if her sister will rent this place out and we might move to Madison Wi. there is crime there too but nothing like here. this place has gone to full shit. it's a real depressing place to exist now. everytime I go to pick up food, there is now beggers bum-rushing you with aggressive panhandling. and when you say nicely, Oh sorry, Im working and delivering. they call you a name. So Like, why would I ever help you out anymore. I used to give people money and then food. Fuck this shit now. it's crazy.
The Bay area is the next detroit or south central. I mean it was before but it's back to what it was during the shittiest years in the 80s. but it was only pocketed areas of urban areas like East Oakland. now it's every town in every hood just about. Even rich ass Walnut Creek they have been looting the shit out of the stores there.
