Billy Goat dug up something that he wished he hadn't. See, he us an Internet tuff guy. Me, I'm just an average Joe that has beaten 7 counts of assault with a deadly weapon since 17MAR87. To just bring that fact up out if the blue would be in the same style of the empty blow hard bravado exemplified by Billy Goat's post's. But I didn't bring it up, he did. In other words kids, this "old man" is real. -

Courts pull up facebook pages and look for "bravado" like this. they consider it cocky. Don't get into a fight again or initiate it. You got dealt well so far. You're older now. Just yell "Hey, I'm an old guy.. why are you picking a fight" try and walk away and then defend yourself. but don't be the youthful "First punch in" even though you know you still got it in you. You don't need to prove yourself. you dont need to feel insecure. *You got this* and just walk away. if they come at you again, unleash the skills of defense. So many cameras today will show you tried to walk away, instant win! -

I'm embarassed to say this but there is some truth to this. But we're not as weird as middle easterners. those guys are far more hot headed and live by cult trend standards than us. I blame Hollywood and Cowboy films for feeding this shit into our minds for the past 7-8 decades. We're a cowboy mentality society. and or Gang Mob Minded. -

To tell you the truth, nothing at all scares me anymore. I've lived so long and seen so much, nothing at all would phase me. And when you get right down to the truth of it, being scared accomplishes absolutely nothing anyways. I mean, let's say you were out on the Arctic tundra, miles of empty, flat ice all around, and you spot a polar bear running at you at full speed. Most people would literally shit their pants, but not me. I would just calmly observe the bear rapidly nearing at full tilt, and I would just as calmly consider what my next best move will be. What would being scared achieve in that situation? Will it make the bear stop? Will it make the bear not arrive? Will it take you away from the danger? Not at all. In fact, getting scared will only decrease your chances of surviving the encounter. Being scared is for people who have not fully lived life, like I have. -

What do you get from lying to people half your age that you don't know and don't believe a word you type? -

Nothing, really. Not anymore. I've done it all. Seen it all. At this point, it's just going through the motions of life, so as to not drag other people down with me. Life is like that. You don't imagine it being true when you're young. -

But you're not that old, right? You're, what, in your 50s? Don't be an eeyore - you still have plenty of life left to experience. -

HA, we are the same age and I'm still know there are as yet to be discovered pleasures and knowledge in this world. The very fact that you think you have seen and done it all tells anyone who has seen anything that you ain't seen shit. What a miserable life yours must be. Sitting day after day on the internet telling tale tales to teenagers while you wait to die. -

Sorry you are miserable, I'm 55 years old next month, partially retired, and right on track to full retirement within 18 - 24 at just over 51k USD/year. Whike 51k is not rich by any means, between my old lady's retirement and mine we will never have to worry about anything but enjoying life. Too bad you spent your life impressing teenagers on the internet. I understand the retirement plan or that life path is nonexistent. Sorry for your luck Billy Boy. -

I was working with a few American retirees who have property on the beach here. Thanks to our shitty devalued currency, they're loaded and living like kings here with their retirement money. I really envy them. -
