2021-11-10 at 2:23 AM UTCIt's funny to me when boomers come across as slightly autistic on DA NET because it's a chicken/egg question of "was thr boomer autistic before the internet or did it supercharge the autism?" And it makes me think of someone getting furious and storming out of a bingo hall because someone else kept winning.

LOL. I'll tell you a true story that happened just yesterday. A local guy I know, we'll call him Bob, came over yesterday to shoot with my son and I on our private range. He brought a sweet old bolt action 30 .06. We broke out several rifles, pistols, and a shotgun. One of the pistols was the AR 15 chambered in AAC.300 Blackout with a 7.5 inch barrel. We loaded it with tracers and were firing at a junk car I dragged out with tractor to about 80 meters.
About half way through the second 30 round mag I watched as my son was shooting and saw a small plume of smoke coming from the interior front of the car. It turned out that the tracer went through the passenger door and lodged into the front right corner of the bottom cushion of the drivers seat. It was just a small fire maybe about 3 to 4 inches tall with a base of maybe 2 to 3 inches. I few handfuls of dirt and a half of a bottle of water and it was out.
But was kind of cool to know find out that from 80 meters the .300 Blackout will pen a car and with tracers can even start a fire in the interior with a favorable shot. -

That is pretty nuts, that's a million to one chance of happening type thing. I want a tractor or at least a backho/excavator so I can bulletproof them and rent them out to rap videos because for some reason nobody does that in rap videos. I imagine alot of people in the Midwest associate violence with farm equipment. There's also the movie Vernon about all the decapitation in Vernon Florida.
Anyways, I hope you have a sweet tractor to do stuff with. Also, how close can you group with that .300 piece? Would be tricky to reset if you weren't used to it I'd imagine -

I bought a new TYM T474 with a backhoe attachment in May. It's Korean made and has the same Yanmar engine used in the compact John Deere tractors.
As for the accuracy and time back on target with the .300 Blackout AR it is pretty sweet. It is set of with a red dot that is mounted to co-witness with the iron sights. Because it has a Mil Spec buffer the recoil is very manageable making time back on target minimal. I can consistently hit a 4" gong at 60 meters and a 14" torso at 100 meters with it.
It is was is sometimes called a Truck Gun. Designed for vehicular carry and defense. With the 7.5" barrel and collapsible wrist brace it's short enough to swing around within the confines of a passenger vehicle. -

How do I have more loyalty to north American products than the "heartland americans" that post here? I've got a John deere 320g skid steer. Yanmar is Japanese, I avoid those and Komatsu and basically try to convince everyone they're inferior to caterpillar, bobcat and deere in every way even tho thats not necessarily true.
Those sound like some strategic mods on it if you're hitting something 4 inches wide at 200feet over and over again. Dots are definitely more practical than scopes in any non long range hunting scenario. -

Other than iron sights the only thing mounted is a simple red dot optic and a small angled foregrip. The truth is I have been shooting since I was 8. In BCT I scored 40 out of 40 on my final qualification with the M16 A1. I am a dammed good shot with a rifle. My pistol skills are well above average but nowhere near what I wish they were. I shoot more with rifles. I need to start making myself practice more with pistols. Which is interesting being as the .300 Blackout is a technically a pistol with a 7.5' barrel.
The AR 15 chambered in NATO 5.56 is all tricked out with a Crimson Trace laser/flashlight/strobe activated by squeezing the pistol grip, a red dot/green dot reticle, custom stock, barrel guard, foregrip, iron sights on a 45 degree canted Picatinny mount, and several Deadpool engraved items such as the dust cover, charging handle etc. -
