Don't get me wrong kids are magical, beautiful and amazing but in order for them not to grow up to be niggerfucking strippers (goes for boys too, this is 2021) you have to be an active parent and that means devoting most of your time, money and energy to their upbringing. I'm in a very good position to have children and the child rearing lifestyle is pretty depressing. Watching kids learn and grow is a beautiful and rewarding thing that nothing can compare to but it's also difficult keeping them at the forefront of your mind when it comes to every decision you make.
The world is a fucked up place too, if you're not going to go 100% in on the kid you shouldn't be having them.

I don't even have pets because I know it'd be horrible and unfair to them. Seeing my kid or my pet suffer because I'm fucked in the head seems like the opposite of happiness. Also for all you people who can breed... don't. Even if it'll 100% make you happy, I swear to fucking god... the next one of your fuckers who plucks a soul from the void and gives it form so it can deal with mortality for a bit just so you can feel a little happier...

99% of people don't have a child on purpose. The old insults of "bastard" and "accident" don't mean anything anymore. I don't know if people have children to be "happier" active parenting and happiness seem to be mutually exclusive. Some people want meaning in their existence and trying to form a tiny human to be the best human they can be seems a worthwhile endeavor.
Also you're imposing your own idea of morality on others if you think it's immoral to bring a child into the world. The world is horribly overpopulated but having net loss population growth isn't realistic, at least not on a global scale. The problem is the world is full of the wrong kind of people, however, one person can affect change on a larger level than they could decades ago. Maybe the future will bring a prodigal antinatalism son who reverses the trend. I hope they're born in China or India ffs, this is getting out of hand. -
