I was pointing out that Chinese railroad workers were known to put their money away. hide it. or have someone take it back to San Francisco where they already had settled. most of them didn't have women come to the US to port cities. they left them behind so half of that money may have went back to their families. the Bank of China was set up In San Francisco for this. to make sure their money got back to China.
