I really don't care. I just want The JWST to launch without incident, deploy at it's assigned Lagrange Point and start doing Astrophysics research. After launch it'll be about a month until it arrives at L2(IIRC) then a little while after that, granted everything went perfect we will have first light.

It was supposed to launch in 2007 and cost $1 billion, but they are only launching it now and it'll cost $10 billion.
They just won't let it launch, they keep testing it and fiddling with it.
For the money Elon Must would probably have a hundred of them in space by now, probably after crashing the first 20 or so, but that's life, you learn and try again and ITS JUST MONEY MOM.

Surprise, science is complicated and expensive FUDnigger.
These FUDniggers would have us return to the stone age if they could divert the funds towards committing genocide upon black and brown people.
The JWST is a marvel of engineering and will usher us into a new era of astronomical observation and we will finally be able to search for new exoplanets and survey their atmospheres for signs of light, or perhaps even optical signals of intelligent species who might reside in the galaxy. It will become a monument to human ingenuity and perseverance that will remain in space for generations, gathering information for all of mankind.
Of course FUDniggers would immediately devolve into panic and primal fear and try to spread FUD like a FUDnigger do if aliens ever did make contact with us: they would probably try to construct space borders and deport the first ET visitor while making 2016 4chan memes centuries after they have become irrelevant.
