Marijuana use always has affected me jumping jobs. In reality it shouldn't matter and the laws are all fucked anyways. I'd much rather have a pot head than a drunk any day and yet they dont care about alcohol. the worse part is they test for marijuana to such an extent that you'll fail even if it's been weeks since you smoked. It's like a vicious game you play trying to hold a job and a joint at the same time. I told my boss that if I have to take 1 more damn drug test Im out because this job isn't worth that much of my free time. It isn't worth any of my free time. I filled out my application 4 times now and have taken 2 drug tests and it is just an entry level job a disabled monkey could do. Get out of my personal life you dirty fucks. Im not jumping through hoops for your dumb asses to hold down a shit job that is embarrassing to even have.

We had to stop screening for marijuana where I work because we have had labor shortages for so long. Still don’t have enough people showing up for work in most areas.

I used to be obviously high on meth and my boss would come and look me in the eyes but I think she had a crush on me or something because she just kept giving me more hours and said "I want you to be in at the same time as me" and I just sorta blushed and said "golly... sure thing Miss Linda.."
I act fake as fuck at work though like all I do is keep my head down and bust ass while everyone talks around me all day long about being tired and hungry. They aren't focused enough. People socialize too much.
Op is smart enough to be making way more money. Actually everyone in this thread is. But you cant stand the thought of giving up creature comforts to save money and get ahead. You refuse to have roomates which would reduce your rent and utilities, you want to live alone etc.
