My 2 cents; the cops are enemies of the people. They functionally do not give a shit about you or your situation. They do not find a shit about protecting and serving. Their job is to maintain order and rule of law, at all costs.
None of that is actually a bad thing. But cops are painted as "the good guys", as if they're the Avengers Vs the evil crack dealer Loki's minions. They're not true. So fuck the cops. Do your job, pig. You are not a hero. This is your job. Do your job, pig.
In the line of duty, they will temple the people. Don't for a second believe they are there for you.

Also cops don't magically appear or are grown in labs. They are often from the same poor neighborhoods than the criminals and chose to join the more successful gang. Haha. True story.

I don't know why you don't seem to want to answer the question, but alright, whatever. I'd call a thing an instance of fearmongering if it promotes fear aimed at producing some end other than fear itself (so distinct from like a ghost story, or terrorism. Fearmongering is the drawing of attention towards something like terrorism with the motive of pushing some political agenda). Such laconicisms as "When the seconds count, the police are only minutes away!" seem like a pretty obvious slogan of gun rights advocates. It promotes fear of home intruders with the intention of garnering pro-gun-rights sentiment.
So what about this doesn't work in your mind? Have I given an invalid definition of fear mongering, or is your little saying not a rhetorical device used by gun rights activists?
