Yes psychos, all the ¡Science! shows masks do help stop viruses

2021-09-10 at 6:18 PM UTCI never got sick before masks were a thing and now I am never taking the mask off, double the protection. Now I don't have to breathe car smog particles every day.
Sometimes I take it off when I go through a park because the air is a bit better but being around people or cars is disgusting to me now. -

Originally posted by Speedy Parker It's very interesting that masks can stop the flu but not covid 19. What I mean is this. Just yesterday I was curious how many flu deaths were reported in 2020 compared to 2019. In 2020 there were only 700 reported flu deaths in the US down from 22000 in 2019 and 34000 in 2018 (according to Scientific American
https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/flu-has-disappeared-worldwide-during-the-covid-pandemic1/)
The article goes on to "explain' that this is due to basically masks and social distancing.
I guess the flu, which is a Corona virus as is the common cold, must be way fatter than covid 19 which just seems to get through the same masks that have stopped the flu in its tracks. I also surmise that covid 19 can leap much farther than it's Corona cousins who seemingly fall to their deaths when attempting to go airborne for more than 6 feet.
But hey, what do I know I'm not a nameless expert.
Holy shit you dumb
