Most of those are not wildly different...grunt work mostly. (Driving a fork lift and working in a warehouse goes hand in hand)

Here's a small selection of mine

    Accountant at a lawyers office
Book Translation service (German to English)
    Builders yard laborer
    Warehouse man
    Private air charter broker
    Downtown Building manager
    Wholesale warehouse manager
    Programmer
    Electronic Technician
    etc etc.

You'll note a wider variety of different skills required there...

But when they learn about workers rights and the safety shit their eyes go real wide YES you can REFUSE WORK and still keep your job and get paid. The government is up the asses of these bitches constantly and use that as an excuse not to give people a fair shake they always blame the government instead of themselves.

Which makes sense because literally any business or industry is heavily regulated so yeah when something does fuck up is it the companies fault? Partly for sure but government regulations can make people do some retarded things.

I have had to stare at the wall many times knowing I could easily move around and do something else but I can't because of regulation. Gotta follow the regulation you can't be some chink that says WATCH ME BOSS MAN I BREAK REGULATION GET WORK DONE FAST YOU SEE I WORK GOOD and nobody wants that.

You will be physically stopped be security if you try because liability exists.

and just look at the results.

factories moved overseas to chinkland where safety regulations are non existent and productivities are thru the roof.

just go youtube fast workers. none of them are in the US or canada.

American are also dirty. We are one of the only countries on earth that have a ability to produce good pure clean consumer products.

Everyone else cuts and steps on shit and makes an inferior product. Garbage in = Garbage out thats what I believe in. "The end result from the effort applied"

Never used quickbooks, back when I did the accounts for the Lawyer's office it was all by hand...big sheets of paper spreadsheets, no computers...well I had an adding machine.

I always found it impressive to walk into an interview somewhat prepared with a folder with questions prepared in advance. You should always want to know exactly what the position is, what the requirements are, who you report to, the hours/days worked expected including weekends and holidays, what clothes or tools I would need, what clothes or tools they supply, etc. Have your resume with you.

Let them know you have thought about working for them but possibly cautiously suggest that you have other interviews scheduled to keep a competitive wage. Tread very carefully here. Basically ask when they would need a decision by.

Salary should be one of the last things brought up.

One thing I always bring up is the company website..."have you looked at our website and familiarized yourself with the company"...9/10 idiots say "Ummm no".

The next 20 mins are a waste of both of our time.

nobody cares about anything on wikipedia that has to do with Canada. Let me guess it happened in the 80s?

We move fast and are too small unlike 300 million americans or 10 billion chinese there are only 30 million of use and we focus on quality instead of quantity
