...just because your source hasn't updated doesn't mean the word meaning hasn't changed/evolved...I guarantee you a year from now dictionaries will have updated their listing for "vaccine"

"Gay" was the perfect example.
Defined by the dictionary "classically" as meaning happy/fair. The general populace though took the word and changed it's primary meaning to something else...being a faggot.
Now when you look up Gay the primary usage is:
adjective, gay·er, gay·est.
of, relating to, or exhibiting sexual desire or behavior directed toward people of one's own sex or gender:
A perfect example of language dynamics and the dictionaries/"Word keepers" following the general usage rather than setting defining the meaning themselves.
The dictionaries simply follow the mass usage of the word..they take a little while to catch up hence why when you look vaccine up NOW it says what you are saying...BUT as I said, in upcoming revisions that will change I guarn-DAMN-tee it. -

Naturally Poor Gay Pendlebury got some flack for calling our town faggoty...she later grew up to be a fucking hottie (Straight).
I wonder how she's coping in the modern world with that name.
