That's called "farming". They do the same thing with people's private data. They can't legally spy on you, so they get one of the Five Eyes to spy on you for them, then that country ships it back for examination. They're doing the same thing with the vote tallies now. They export the vote tallies out of country, the other country edits it, then imports the vote tallies back into the country. -
