    Obviously most English words come from...duhhhh England.

    That's nice, but we don't live in "origin" times...again I've never heard it used in general conversation during my 30yrs being born and raise and living in England till I came to America..in England it's pot, hot pot etc...In Ireland it's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow..not a crock of gold.

    A slow cooker is refered to as a slow cooker...not a crock pot.


    On topic, back in England this steam deck would, besides being a bag of shit, be referred to as a steaming pile of shit.

    ETA: I think Australians use "crock" quite a bit.
