Days ago I was watching videos on this on YouTube because I’ve gotten into collecting cans and pull tabs
Smelting looks cool but it’s a total waste of time and effort, you won’t make enough extra money to justify it plus most places are strict about the condition the cans are in when you send them in

im not into this for the money.
the aluminum ingots will be the small and compact physical manifestation of my alcohol ussage.

do these cans have paint on them? if so, wouldnt it cause impurities in the ingot? i guess molten metal is heavier than paint so it would float on top where it can be removed.
