Anyone with any web dev skills wanna help me out with a project i have been working on? My preferred language for doing something like that would be NodeJS based perhaps Electron for purposes of running it locally at the end users end instead of being forced to set up a seperate web server.
Data will be coming in from over the web, and a bunch of it. What i wanna do is aggregate it and display it to the end user in a way that provides good oversight of all this data, neatly categorized and all that jazz. It's more of a Data Viz/Data Science project basically. And while i know some R, i am not too well versed in it, which is why i would prefer a NodeJS or Python solution, but a web app will do as well. Like i said for the web app part i'd prefer NodeJS, because it's versatile for both local and actual web, kind of like a web portal. But if you kick ass at PHP or Python that'd be cool.

It's a good deal we're end to end encrypted as of now. Unfortunately i only had old session keys. I had made a backup master session key but i think it expired. Also it was late when i showed up yesterday so you nigs were probably passed out but i think i sent everyone a new auth request.
Also, i know i haven't updated the Dev Room in a while but i think i'll use Github for automation and CI in the form of a bot and i'll do an integration specifically for GitLab as well, everyone part of the Dev room will get read and write permissions to the Gitlab one. I'll make a new account and turn it into the GH Org for Element Dev.
Something i have that is ready to go now is an implementation you can use through Tor, and use to host your rooms on the DerpWeb. Obviously NodeJS and Electron are JavaScript so standard security level is the only level at which everything works as it should. I can host the deep web variant on my datacenter in a dedicated VM i can spin up.
So far all the Element Dev stuff has been for fun, but we can take it to the next level, but i suppose standard everything suits the purposes of IM'ing just fine.
