Folks, this really seems to anger other drivers, and i like to see others rage when they were initially docile.

People act tough when they get in a 3000lb vehicle whereas normally they would be meek and compliant with societal norms

What is your definition of raging/ acting tough in such a situation? Yelling at you out the window? What does it mean to act tough in such a situation? Yelling out the window?

Because I don't consider honking, flashing lights, or speeding around a slow car as raging or acting tough. If you think about it, lights and the horn are the only way you can communicate using the car unless you yell out the window. So next time someone honks at you and speeds up to pass you, think of it as being the same as someone saying "excuse me" as they pass you in the grocery store.

Maybe you both so bad that other drivers routinely yell at you?

Only retarded pedestrians ever yell at me, and its always to slow down. Its always in residential areas when im not even speeding, and its always ugly white bitches in their mid 40s.

Brake checking, intentionally cutting you off, tailgating, generally being a menace.

ETA: besides actual actions I think an angry response, the finger, yelling out the window etc is "raging"...it also shows a lack of self control and serves absolutely no purpose...when was the last time you were scared by someone giving you the finger or yelling "learn to drive you fucking moron".

Just a total lack of self control and in the instance of a physical retaliation childish at best, dangerous to other road users at worst.

Those same ragers don't get so enraged at the store when a black person has their shopping cart blocking the aisle etc do they?

depends on how you use your horn.

a light double tap, or a long, as long as you can keep your hands on it kind of horn conveys different meaning.

also on topic, i usually time my speed so that by the time i reach the light it will be green and i wont have to stop.

The horn is not meant as a "fuck you" or a "go ahead mate!" signal device. It is ONLY meant as a warning to other road users who may not have seen you.

Misuse of the horn can result in being ticketed.

Same with hazard lights, you are NEVER supposed to operate them when the vehicle is moving...but many a dumb gont does.

    you lacked advanced communication skills.

a horn is an inter-vehicle communication device.

a competent driver usually can express a wide range of expression with it, from simple speed up, fuck you, fuck off, to i love you and see you again.

passing lights and exhaust notes could also assist inter vehicle communications.

The driver doesn't set the Law...it's a driving violation to misuse the horn for anything other than a warning to a vehicle or pedestrian that might not have seen you.

Clearly you lack good driving skills and should have your rickshaw license suspended.

FYI...if YOU have been seeing that a lot while driving.

"An outward pointing and raised pinky means you are nothing, of poor quality or not very good at something from that person’s perspective."

I get pissed at this (see: https://niggasin.space/thread/49559), but keep a lid on the anger. I just push their shit out of the way.

I also rarely honk at cars, even if some blind cunt almost drives into me and almost causes an accident; I would rather keep hands on wheel in case I need to pull some sick maneuvers bruh. But I have been known to drive around slow vehicles, even in places where you are not supposed to do so. Most recently overtook some slow cunt on the onramp to the freeway even though it was a one lane. Once also overtook some slow cunt by going 60 in the oncoming in a residential street. Is that raging?
