i dont think the acronym was real. It may have come from the book by Phillip K Dick about androids and electric sheep/sleep
but I always fellt AT&T had something to do with &T. especially since Jeffs ethernet company was across the street of the Contra Costa main AT&T building in Walnut Creek. its a hub and not a bill center.
Jeff also owned a computer repair shop in the earlier 90s when I first joined the dialup &TOTSE and I stopped by once. or was he part owner. I recall that. it was on the 2000 block of Main street. its funny because they tore down all of the old stores on the street and built a large Medical research center. The building housed a research center where some famous GNOME research went on and discovered something to do with DNA shit. I cant remember what it was though. I might research that again. the Address for the building is 2001 <---- I think it was built around 2001 as well. or maybe late 90s. It's also where I was mowed down in 2013 by a Chevy, 2 months after Lanny talked his bullshit to me on Zoklet site.
