Yes with real soy sauce there is more sodium than table salt because it's consentrated in the soy and liqued is more dense than the granulates of salts. meaning there is air space between the granulates. so yes, there is a reason for this. however its not American Soy Sauce. it's certain asian consentrated soy sauce that a lot of Chinese Restaurants in the US order from China but you wont find it on a store shelf because of guidelines or some shit. Not really sure. or if its too salty. this is why Chinese food is known to fill you up and in a few hours you're hungry again. because salt attracts water. this is why you get high blood pressure because it acts like a hydraulic system on the blood vessels.
in a few hours after you eat chinese food you probably piss out fluid and you feel hungry again. -

that is actually how it would kill you. the more water you drink to flush it out the higher your blood pressure becomes. this is why you have diaretics givin in BP meds. to force you to piss out the salts slowly. without drinking more water. then when you do this, you have to kind of rehydrate yourself or sip water while taking them most day long. just sipping off of a water bottle all day long. -
