Sounds like a problem you should take up with your local politician. I don't believe in taxes I think they are immoral and wrong

Let me explain to you how you'll be swimming across rivers rather than driving across them because there were no taxes to build the bridges.

    Hope you're a good swimmer!

taxes don't build bridges, people do. A community has a lot more autonomy if they're the ones funding public projects as opposed to a bureaucracy.

In fact a lot of corporations outright pay for or help to develop a community because investing in a community means more profit for them.

Taxes pay for communities to build bridges.

Well what if the bridge cuts through your property and building it will hurt your business. Or what if it's not a bridge, but a pipeline and the government already took their money from the company that wants to build it.

Why should you have to pay taxes for something that will hurt you? or that you don't agree with?

Democracy through fundraising will lead to the best possible solution instead of what gets someone the most votes.

Who should pay to build a bridge across the Mighty Mississippi between St. Louis, MO and East St. Louis, IL? Should St. Louis people pay more because they have more money even though they only cross the bridge to get out of East St. Louis or should the Illinois people pay because they want to get into St. Louis for work and shopping/entertainment and then back home at night?

Saks? Being racist? Saks are jedi. This is literal jedi supremacy.

Just like the jedi murders and land grabs in Gaza and the West Bank.

Why aren't we having a rebellion against jedi supremacists?

i'll fucking build it myself FOR FREE

It wouldn't even be a question of "who has to pay for it" the bridge would already be built and paid for by companies that need it. The government does nothing but get in the way.

The government does not build bridges. They offer contracts which PRIVATE COMPANIES bid on and they are the ones that build all the infastructure. The government costs money to manage such contracts and offer them, this requires tax money to pay for the government workers.

If you cut all of that out the project would still get done, except some people would be out of a cushy do nothing job paying 6 figures to sit on their ass and stamp papers.

bureaucracy is an outdated concept, technology makes it obsolete. Imagine system like Gofundme except for "government" contracts that a local community pays for.

Radical idea I know (even though this is basically how things operate now except with far more hurdles)
A private company could fund public works and have their name on the bridge. There are no losers in a truly free market.
