I'm so very glad to have been mostly liberated from these pernicious desires to 'create', to 'contribute', and to have 'success'. It seems like this is what drives most of you people mad. Every member we've lost seems to embody this sense of self-loathing for having wasted their (most likely insubstantial) potential for greatness, or their potential happiness. The idea that you should be doing "something else" but have painted yourself into a corner is a source of unending misery. You can't just content yourselves with mediocrity (or worse-than-mediocrity). It's sad.
