7 Days to Die

2021-04-27 at 5:26 AM UTCI downloaded it yesterday and it seems pretty fun.
It seems to be ARK but instead of dinosaurs it has zombies.
The only thing I dont like is that Steam gives me accomplishments for doing things in the game and one I got within an hour of playing was "killed 10 zombies" and then it said "only 60% of players have ever achieved this" which makes me think no one I know will have an attention span long enough to even get into it.

Minecraft’s fun... but I’d rather play 7days.
This one base that a friend and I built, became too small, for all the shit we had, so we had to look for another place.
Once we found another place and setup, we transferred over what stuff we could of, but then my friend also made an underground tunnel connecting the two which was atleast a mile long in game. Lol
The game is fun af! -

2021-04-28 at 8:33 AM UTCit doesn't crash a lot but it's riddled with bugs and weird behaviours, especially online becausefrom what I gather actual netcode is too low-level for anyone on their team

Punch trees and pick up rocks....
Games anymore are all the same.
PUBG has fifty gazillion million games exactly like it with just different weapons.
Now we have ARK and 7Days to Die which is damn near exactly the same.
Imagine if you was in the old days and you went to Gamestop and picked out a cool fps that you are really excited about and then you go home and find it is the same as the fps you just played last week but with Koreans instead of Japanese.
It is almost as if the game developers are just modding one thing and rebranding it as a completely new game.
And with all these retarded in game purchases you find now a days I am sure they are rich as fuck and feel no reason to really try.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

Nah its always been like that. Years ago, a few months ago. It's just not really playable with other people. It offers nothing that Minecraft or other zombie sims don't have.
I played it on console once and it's HILARIOUS how much the graphics are downgraded only for it to run OK.
You literally be able to run a duplication glitch off lag. Idk if you still can but it made grinding online basically worthless.
Good base game idea, but it needed severe optimization about 4yrs ago. It's one of the worst running games I own, and it makes me sad because I do have like a good 60h on it or something. I like making a little hidden hatch to my base deep in the forests. I would even place dirt there when I logged off.
But people would just use hacks or glitch through the floor and find it again and again and again. I'd get into a firefight and they'd suddenly stop moving, or I'd die out of nowhere, just because one of us lagged. Watching friends lag out as we get attacked was depressing and I had one guy I played with ragequit.
I want a game that runs smoothly and does what it promises.
Also they dont update on consoles which idgaf about,but its pretty fucked that they just stopped updating whole platforms but not PC. There is not even a delay they just stopped. Most games update console versions a few months later at least. -

ARK seems cool but I never got into it.
Runs WAAAAAY better than 7days. -

no such thing with those suicide commando asshole zombies now
I actually disabled them because they were randomly blowing holes in my defences - hard to snipe them when you have the horde count set to 64x -

Ah. Dunno if they're included in the PS4 version. Its been a while since I played but it rarely gets updated so probably not.
