I dunno about accent, depends on who you ask. I don't seriously say shit like 'crikey' and 'shrimps on the barbie' though
we all know that was a silly sales pitch for the tourist company hollyweird pushed. I dont think Americans say that catchline anymore. if we do, its to make fun of an aussie acting up. I drive around enough tourist now, I been doing prettyy good about telling the dif between kiwis over aussies. but every once in a while i still hear british if its just a short chat like directions and then not talking much. it takes a moment to hear aussie.
The reason I asked though was I thought you were from mainland Asia. I thought you were mixed and born in Asia mainland somewhere and not originally from Australia.
also I know lots of Scots still bounce between the two countries. and Canadians out of Nova Scotia have a slight accent that sounds more scottish. we get a lot of Nova Scocia peeps who work in San Francisco hubs. outside of Trailer Park boys I never heard them prior to driving fleet. The reason I drive uber is you meet a lot of people and potential is high. HR is of interest.
