"Yes" but also not really. It's probably some kind of dharmic negative in the sense that addiction/physical dependency is "foreign" and not part of the human experience unless introduced? I get the sense that pluperfect ascendant humanity is probably not addicted to any drugs, but unless you're the Maitreya buddha incarnate it's probably not a huge deal. I don't think it's inherently a "bad" thing outside of that context, but considering that specific context is a part of all the contexts in which that question could be answered... it is obviously not perfectly good or neutral, therefore, it's "bad".

Beyond that, it's more how you feel about it and how you deal with it. For an addict driven to commit a crime he would not have committed were it not for the addiction, addiction is obviously bad. This is not an outcome inherent to addiction though. It's bad if it's negatively impacting your life, and only the person living your life can decide whether or not that's the case.

    I read the first sentence.

Blame twitter for me not reading the rest.

I'm sure it was deep and woke shit altogether.

The withdrawals are awful, I really don't blame anyone for not wanting to go through that.

Don't worry it was rambling nonsense.
