A civilian does not have the same authority as a police officer. If a police officer is pointing a gun at you you comply. If a civilian is pointing a gun at you you have the right to defend yourself.
It's pretty simple logic...you don't point a gun at an authoritative figure unless you're a stupid nagga...then please go ahead and see what happens.

This is a world other westerners don't have to live in, because their police are trained and held culpable for committing crimes while wearing the uniform. Such as, pulling a gun on a peaceful person chilling in their car. -

The state isn't threatening you with violence by simply having their weapons drawn, It's a defensive stance by the officer involved...completely reasonable by a trained police officer responding to a known/unknown threat.
The "threat" is always to the officer from the unknown...hence the defensive stance...Cops don't shoot people (bar a few exceptions) for absolutely no valid reason...civilians often do. -
