It isn't, but it's also not entirely unfair to say that the burgeoning class consciousness demonstrated by the unprecedented popularity of OWS has since been smothered somewhat by a shift away from issues of economic class towards hypervigilance in confronting discrimination on the basis of race, sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation. It's... actually kind of depressing. There was a brief, glorious moment in US history when the American people realized that they were proles. It's not too insane to point out that the capitalist class has a vested interest in keeping people hypervigilant in their never ending struggle against every kind of oppression besides economic oppression. And that, perhaps coincidentally (and perhaps not), that's exactly what happened after OWS.
