   You can claim it on your tax return. If it's really not your bank account I wouldn't even worry about it. The IRS will see its not in your name.

   Nah I am serious about the first part .. idk.. I'm just kinda waiting for things to settle down then maybe I'll call and ask. I filed my taxes NEARLY TWO MONTHS ago too and havent gotten shit. This is the first year it's been like that. Last year I got my taxes and stimmmy all prompt.

   I'm self admittedly one of the poorer people on this site so I could certainly put use to the extra money but also I'm fine and I'm not eating trash out of my moms curbside garbage can just yet.
   
   I actually just decided on a real interesting idea for a huge payout from my city in a lawsuit but I have to orchestrate it and work out all the moving parts a little better.

   Two months ago? You can check your refund status online. IRS says its supposed to be 21 days. Maybe they didn't accept it for some reason? What forms do you have? Just W-2 and maybe a 1095-A?
