I used to think masks were a good idea. I made a thread about it, back when mask denialism was the mainstream thing, and you were a weirdo for wearing a mask out. Then I realised Corona is just the flu, and now I don't think it matters what you do. Worst that will happen to you is a bad flu. May as well wear a mask, so you don't catch the flu, but it doesn't matter. -

its simple biology and evolutionary theory.
the early strain of batflu were deadly, no doubt about it. what this means is that early strain of batflu kill its hosts at such a high rate that they often die with together their hosts.
the strains that got spread around are the strains that dont bother their hosts with a variety of symptoms and illness to the point they seek treatment and get tested. so these mild strains are the ones in circulation right now.
after a year, the strains that remain are those that cause mild annoyance. anyone who understands basic concept of natural selection knoes tjis. The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

That's exactly what happened. We are basing our response to the Corona flu on what the Corona flu was in early 2020, a scary virus with a 20% death rate.
In reality:
Rates are way lower than the above right now, these are simply all I can find. Because everyone knows you don't question covid, it's the most politically incorrect thing you can do right now. -

i knew this after i saw the data that came out of singapore where they had 10s of thousands of positive cases per day from rampantly testing their resident rohingya-bangladeshi "guest" workers.
not because they got sick or something, but merely because singaporean government is a curious george. -
2021-03-12 at 9:30 PM UTCCherry picked studies lmao.
Studies have been accurate the whole time retards. Holy fuck. The worst risk was never the mortality rate. You are all dumb as shit -
