Lol, that's NOT the legal process for citizenship dummy...it's the legal process for asylum...which MIGHT if approved lead to a work permit and being allowed to apply for permanent residency...NOT citizenship which is a whole separate process.
Being let in because they applied is dumb because 90% of asylum applications are DENIED...so letting them in is dumb because then when their application is DENIED...you have to try and find them to kick them out...which in most cases is a fruitless task as once they are in they don't even show up for their asylum hearings and disappear into the void of brown-ness.
