The TV license is a technicality here which is easily bypassed, and many people do, and more are realizing that daily. You all pay to watch tv just by having a huge percentage of your viewing time taken up by advertisements which sucker most of you in to buying things you don't really want or need.
Personally I haven't owned nor watched tv in over a decade and have never bought a tv licence in my entire life, even back during all the times I did watch/own one. Tv licences are for normie moron suckers, but at least those normie moron suckers watching bbc channels are doing so sans adverts, so an hours viewing for them is a full hour of uninterrupted entertainment/education/whatever(if that's your idea of those things).
They might be suckers, but they're not total suckers.
