Nigerians show off textile patterns. There are literally more precious metals than anywhere else on the planet there and there is not much of a historic affinity to showing them off and valueing above all else -

That doesnt seem correlated at all. In African culture status has a lot to do with body modification and oral history. If so, much less so than almost every other culture. I gotta think Che was talking about the western niggers not motherlanders as I highly doubt he had traveled there and there were likely far fewer first generation migrants in south/central america at the time. Will bet my gold ass chain he was thinking of west indies type of blax as his experiences with actual Africans was very limited. I think the CIA still has Ches brain so if there is a way to achieve singularity with it I will ask it this query and then boy will your face be red.

There is no general African culture; I was trying to be specific when I mentioned Nigeria. Some of them reject body modification altogether like the Sudanese tribes Leni Reifenstahl kept interfering with. I think the main difference between African cultures comes from whether they're traditionally hunters or farmers but I don't really know or care enough about Africa to keep going with this -

In nigeria the hausa falani are traditionally farmers but they have gotten pretty well off lately because of Buhari being in power. You dont see these niggas bein all flashy at all even though there is so much entrenched corruption it would make poroshenko blush. I dont really think Yoruba or Igbo flex with trinkets too much either, historically or contemporarily.
I think that your comment about african cultures being flashy or whatever is obviously false but makes an interesting dichotomy of western blacks turning into fuckabouts pretty quickly. Same can be said of most indigenous groups. African immigrants (excluding somalians of course) must have some of the highest levels of employment and savings among immigrants (and definitely refugees) in similar positions. Im sure any country would rsther have some handworking sudanese than some sketchy face tatted Hondurans.
Ive actually spent a lot of time dreaming up ways of setting up manufacturing facilities in Africa that promote savings and facilitate local investment. Chinese are just raping them right now, its fucking sad. Basically I have a lot of respect for Africa as a continent and the people there. I dont see many similarities between stereotypical negative imagery in America and in Africa. Even the way wars are fought are different.
