the way they do it in the industry is exactly that. if you put them in a blender you can easily fuck the process up because that'll pull too much chlorophyll/fats and waxes, and screw up the potency.
chop themm rather than blend, and soak in water, squeeze as much of the dark liquid out as possible, and let it dry.
why be wasteful? i've scorred the pods and done it that way, and it's not necessarily any better.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

Literally, opium and PST is the same drug. The opium is the sap which covers the seeds. PST is just washing these seeds and drinking the coating that comes off. It's not 'weaker' unless you choose to make your dose weaker. It might be 'weaker' because you're not smoking it but like I said, you can dry it out if you really want and can't get opium sap. It's all opium. Same stuff.
And lol 'poppy seed crackers'. If you're eating them to get high, you're doing it wrong and risking fecal impaction.

But smoking opium for me was not as psychedelic as weed is, but now looking back I think every time I used it I was also smoking pot. It goes very nicely with marijuana or a couple beers. I'd say it's like the chillness of a few beers and some weed taken up a notch, it's not like an OMG i'm so fucked up kind of high, it's just relaxing, feels good, and smells and tastes very nice too. It's way more mellow than weed is too.
the best opium I ever smoke did give me tracers like I had taken some L, but at the time I had been abusing a lot of L and 2C drugs, so who knows could have been a flash back kinda thing. But there was no head fuck, it was super euphoric and relaxing. I distinctly remember asking my buddies if we could get some more and they were like, NOPE, QUIT ASKING, and I definitely strongly craved it for a couple weeks after smoking it. I never got as high on opium as I did that time and have probably only done it 3-4 time since then and at that first time was probably 2005 or 2006.
