So you'd be where? Middle of the woods? You have tents? Blankets? Shovels? Etc? -
2021-02-18 at 5:23 PM UTCJust drink your piss. You don't need to distill anything. Anyone who dies from dehydration is stupid.

Depends on the situation. I have spent a lot of years being a "prepper" living innawoods having stockpiles of food, getting youtube ads for prepper shit.
It's how I got into real chemistry instead of just drug chemistry. A lot of this shit people want to sell to you like hexane fuel tablets I would remember reading about those in a drug synthesis and I saw past all of that and learned to educate myself on how to survive.
I have done it before, living with no or little electricity when you have to care about things like access to electricity or potable water. I know how to how to charge a phone in the woods, but when you don't even have cell service the best you can do with it is listen to a podcast or use the flashlight.

I am at the mercy of the grid going down just like anyone else. Living in a city it's hard to detach your life from the luxury of electricity, technology and society. I don't want to be here and live like this but I am and I have to, just like I will be able to in any situation if there is a disaster or apocalypse. I survived COVID like it was nothing
You can't prepare for everything, i used to be obsessed with that shit but now I believe the best way to 'prep' is to be educated and constantly learn about chemistry, industrial chemistry, the WHO essential medicines list and the history of how humans have used chemicals to make their lives easier. You can just chlorinate water and put fluoride in it. If da grid goes down for real you will find me stinking up the industrial area with chlorine and driving my tonka trucks with fluorite ore to the smelty

2021-02-18 at 8:20 PM UTCmost people wouldn't know that chemistry skills can come in handy in a survival situation. even a lot of chemists wouldnt know it, but it can be super useful, especially in a long term survival scenario. p2p meth synths are actually good practice to learn chemistry and cannot be stopped cause you can do a p2p synth from entirely otc chems that are super common and not suspicious at all. back on totse, nobody talked about synthesizing hexamine for their RDX/homemade C4, but it's actually super easy. fuck buying it
anyway i just got done checking out the local parks in the snow. it was great. still snowing quite a bit despite the temperature being above freezing, which is odd to me.
fuck i love snow -

that number is not based on actual commodity costs, with an analogy being worker hourly pay rate. the normal person makes $8 an hour.
the analogy is, what the texas energy gang said is that, because there are so many workers available that now they have to pay $2 an hour because there is a glut of employees. that is the jist of what theyre claiming: there is such a massive demand for energy, they have to exponentially increase how much they charge. zero associated need for that to happen that is a plausible explanation.
thats an uber simplified explanation but youre a dumb shitskin who couldnt grasp the concept anyway.
Didnt read because you're dumb as fuck -

wasn't talking about that, literally never said anything about making drugs. I am talking about making medicines. I already know how to make any drug, what big pharma doesn't want you to know is how to make your own anti biotics.

Nah I'd kill and rob weak bitches like you, then feed your corpse to my garden. The bones are good for tomatoes -

the minimal loss of water is a trivial price to pay
you can just boil those chemicals off once it's distilled, but no it doesn't need to be perfectly sealed, that's true.
if the condenser is large enough and far enough away from the part where heat is applied, you don't need to cool the condenser.
a 5 inch or more diameter pipe that's a couple feet long, preferably more than 3 feet, and a container to collect the distillate that's around 30 to 50 gallons should suffice. if fuel/heat is limited, then cool it to make it more efficient.
you can really just pour cool water over it though. the larger it is, the less important cooling the condenser is because the temperature difference naturally causes it to condense fairly easily.
it can be remineralized pretty easily by adding clean sterile rocks and stones to the distillate container. the pH will naturally be lower after distillation and it'll pull minerals from the stones
EDIT; more surface area in condenser = faster condensing.
you can only do so much with chemistry glassware because of the cost and size, not ideal for water distillation -
2021-02-18 at 10:55 PM UTCCreek beds also have 100% unpolluted spring water which shoots up from the sandy bottom. Only need a long tube to capture it. Many of them are hot water, so you can have a warm bath, too.
