and again. the Russians wouldn't of had their problem had it been encased in 50 feet thick of reinforced concrete. they shouldn't have used cooling rods like a car's radiator. but rather a pool inside shitloads of concrete.

most of the people around here even the beaners have been enjoying the snow rather than complaining. we probably appreciate it more than you cause it's so uncommon in southern tx

and every place has its weak points in their infrastructure. your country for example has a mostly wireless internet infrastructure which has an entirely different weakness compared to a wired one...

one high altitude EMP or epfcg/vircator combo could take out your major cities just as easily as it could ours, and they could also just use signal jammers since your telecommunications and internet are mostly wireless these days.

difference is the beaners aren't infesting canada, instead you get chinese which are actually intelligent. either way, you depend on the grid, if shit gets fucked, you're gonna have to leave your apartment and stay with someone that doesn't rely on the grid. rural canada would be fine in the event of a catastrophic power outage of some sort, like rural anywhere else

yeah an EMP is gonna really mess up my life and the shockwave will blow out the pilot light in my heater and i will freeze to death.

it has nothing to do with your heater or dying from cold. EMPs scare the piss out of most governments for a variety of reasons. canada wouldn't do as poorly as the US, but it would still be catastrophic in a lot of ways.

it's kind of a good thing in a way, to get all the useless urban fucks dependent on the grid so that they can be removed quickly when necessary, but once your machines go down, and you don't have any food stored up, you cannot purchase anything anymore, your money that you get from the government will be useless, and depending on the time of year, you won't be able to melt snow to drink either. no more water, no more food, no more internet, haaaaaaaaaa

chances are the gas they supply to your house is connected to your grid as well, not that freezing to death would ever be an issue, but it would be pretty uncomfortable on top of everything else that would happen

EDIT; the main threat from an EMP to human life is dehydration. DHS has stated millions will die in a matter of days due to dehydration from a large scale EMP, because it'll shut down water treatment facilities, meaning staying warm would be the least of anyone's worries.... like i said, canada won't do as poorly, but a bunch of useless fucks there would be killed off too

yeah when my lights go out the first thing I worry about is the local creek drying up

it would mainly be panic that kills most people. if the gas and electric are out, you can start a fire to boil water, but it's not as easy as people think if they've never done it, and when you get the idea to collect wood(that is if fire is even an option in your urban dwelling) you'll quickly realize other people had the same idea.

and the local rivers or lakes? you could drink it without boiling it and probably not get sick at first, but all it takes is one serious pathogen outbreak and then that water supply is fucked for anyone that doesn't boil it properly

EDIT; not to mention all the people who will riot and start fighting over scraps. like i said, all canada has going for them is not being beaner infested america, other than that, they're just as vulnerable as anyone else....

every new president of the US seems to be 'tested' with a natural disaster, and when certain pseudo-red states went against obama, coincidentally they got fucked with natural disasters like is happening now with his buddy biden.... a lot of people are going to be duped into thinking the federal grid and handouts are the answer, they want to usher in communism... texas actually accepts very little money from the federal government in comparison to how much they give to the feds... so you kinda have to trick them into thinking they need it...

california has one of the worlds largest economies but still accepts a shit ton of federal government aid because they're more openly communist

Yeah people would spend the time drinking creek water and dying instead of operating a water treatment plant

how you gonna operate it when the shit is fried? do you know how long it takes to die of dehydration? have you or anyone you know ever personally operated a water treatment plant and understand the circuitry involved in operating it?

youll run out of time very quickly
