    Dude welding is indispensable. It's relatively low skilled for a trade but it's incredibly useful and has many applications. Going your own way and opening yourself up will be the key to finding opportunities. Maybe look for a partner and try metal fabrication. Or try automotive, or move and try to get involved in pipelines.
