Yeah and now they're worn out old men with major health problems lmao. This is why aerobic and anaerobic workouts exist. Athletes have tons of heart problems because of shit like this. I guess you've never heard of cardiomyopathy.
But sure just because some people did it in their 30's and shit that means its totally safe, yep. Not like heart disease is the #1 killer in the world or anything. -

This is why you should warm up on the treadmill before benching weights. but you don't want to go full out running and then lifting free weights . They recommend you do cardio one day and then warm up cardio and then lift free weights or machines.
But I guess it depends on who you're talking to. But yeah, guys who do roids and then bench and never go bike riding or running or in door aerobics (or women) can develop serious heart conditions. Arnold Did. -
2021-02-15 at 5:02 PM UTCAll those Pecs smashing muscles and chest musles crunching down on the heart valves. Putting pressure on them. Getting huge like that is not a healthy body especially when you get older and can't produce muscle mass like when you're between your teens and 40s. it goes down hill real fast after your late 30s.

i used to feel that way too before i stopped caring. High intensity interval training or HIT was probably worse for me, though i didn't do that stoned. mostly if running i'll smoke only a small amount if going for distance/duration, then smoke a proper bowl once i've got the runners high. it's godlike and since you're already naturally high and your heart rate is going down, it won't put too much extra strain on it.
timing it is important. weight training doesn't get my heart rate up much and i think more people should do it as it's low intensity for the heart, but slows the aging down quite well, whereas running is shown to decrease people's lifespans with a certain frequency and duration.
i think the pot also helps reduce stress in the cool down period, possibly enhancing recovery time in a lot of people.
i used to be a big pot advocate, but really i don't recommend 'recreational' use of anything but rather medicinal... what's good for me may be bad for other pepole. -

Someone should tell you. Fatso.
I need to work out too. My arms are getting skinny. All I have are a few 25 pound curlers. I need to get into the Gym downstairs. but it's still locked to the residence.
I should go join Planet Fitness or some shit. but half the time their shits broken. it was great when they first opened up. But i been reading those cheap 10 dollar a month places can't afford to hire Maintainece guys while paying the expensive rent. and most of them are in shitty neighborhoods like ghettos. so dont park your car there. kind of like Metro-Mobile . Ghetto Burner phones always located in the ghetto -

that's more an opinion, and back on totse and even zoklet, perestroika, hlc and a bunch of othr people could've shown you a mountain of scientific evidence to the contrary. i'm too lazy to bothr with that these days..
i think it also depends why you lift. if it's not for looks and more for strength/functionality, you're better off health-wise... i know a guy that is ridiculously strong and never lifted weights, he got that way by being active all his life and doing manual labor even though he had enough money to retire at a young age. he liked wrestling and was pretty good at it despite never learning formally. this guy is about 56 now and can still out-lift, out-run and out-wrestle most men in their 20s.
make it a life-style and keep the rep count lowish, i think you'll be okay -

"stopped caring" is really the crux of it here. It's not good for you. Maybe mentally but not physically. If you don't care that's fine. I have done a lot of dangerous things because I didn't care. Was only mentioning it because Bill Krozby doesn't know better and is pushing out dangerous misinformation because he doesn't realize that having a sustained high heart rate is bad for your heart. Dude is built like a twig. He doesn't know the first thing about working out. -

I agree. there are a few. a small percent. What he did and good genetics. but, You're saying "Guys in the 20s"? LOL we're talking about Mellenial/Zoomrz now. they're just effeminate and squishy compared to guys in the last of the analog generation of the 1980s early 90s at the latest -

You can get a pretty good workout with minimal equipment. Look into body workouts. There's no muscle unreachable with a mat and a nice sturdy chair. The hardest part is becoming familiar with the different things you can do without equipment, but you can get pretty fit just doing body weight exercises. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking to be a body builder, but for the rest of us they're really great imo. I fucking hate gyms. Especially right now during covid with everyone sweating all over everything. All the people in a gym rn are the ones most likely to have covid. -
2021-02-15 at 5:27 PM UTCMost college and university campuses have great exercise equipment. You don't need to be a student to sign up and use the facilities.

2021-02-15 at 7:44 PM UTCRead about this guy the other day who lived alone and he had a heart attack and barely made it to the phone, had to crawl on his hands and knees, called 911, but by the time they got there he was already dead. Came as a real shocker to the family and neighbors.
