It really blows my mind. He's the worst fucking populist ever, and all of these predictions have been wrong. Literally every single damn one. They're all so specific too, like wtf? Usually fortune tellers have to be vague to get people to believe in their bullshit.

It's almost kinda optimistic that they really think Democrats and Republicans are working together like this lol.

Imagine actually believing in democracy or democratically elected presidents.

When Trump was president anything that he actually did was a bonus. This isn't the 1940s, you don't have an FDR, you have a puppet.

How long can someone like §m£ÂgØL stay excited about biden? I'm picking maybe a month. I'm keeping a close eye on the sentiment of US elite newspapers, and how long it takes to realize nothing changes - I know I shouldn't but I do time the market a little bit by tweaking ratios.

Have you stopped to examine why they think that?

Like I kind of know why liberals are liberal. I don't think it's just COZ THEY R ALL DUM. Most are probably good people.

Can you put yourself in the shoes of a working class white person and understand it from their perspective?

Lol you think I like Biden? The Democrats are still too economically conservative. But they're the only side willing to enact the widely popular ideas that Americans will want. Biden's healthcare plan is going to lower healthcare costs for literally everyone since those making over 50-60k will now be able to benefit from public subsidies, a public option, and medicare being able to negotiate drug prices. Premiums will also go down 1.5% to 8.5%. Raising the minimum wage will also be widely popular, as will the erasure of COVID-19 as a public health crises, and the inevitable improvement of the economy afterwards.

What have Republicans done for Americans? Ban transgenders from going to Afghanistan? Lmao. All Trump ever did was talk shit and tank the economy. He never built that wall, and he never drained the swamp. Democrats are very clearly the only ones willing to enact policy that actually helps people, and that fact has been made even more evident during this pandemic. Republicans only move backwards, not forwards.

You don't know anything about this though since you already benefit greatly from living in a country with social democratic policies. The NZ economy didn't tank, because your president was smart enough to listen to science and close the borders. All politicians need to do is listen to science and the people, and everything will be alright.

Lol, what exactly do you think I am?

To be fair, I don’t like Biden. I think he’s a joke. I simply think the cult mentality that surrounds Trump is absurd. He’s not the one decent person left on the planet who is going to save us all from pedophiles, corruption, and the devil himself. And anybody who has an oppositional opinion or handles things differently than Trump isn’t a traitorous piece of shit who should be kicked out of the country and burned at the stake.

I mean I agree, I guess I just don't understand why you think it's absurd.

I am staunchly anti-communist. Though by the same notion I feel I could argue a point fairly well from a communist perspective. It's not absurd to me that people still believe in it. It's understandable.

Do you not understand why trump supporters are the way they are?

He has never met a working class white American in his life lol. His entire perspective of this is based on 4chan/8chan.

The vast majority of working white class people do not believe in the QAnon shit, because the vast majority of people in general are not so stupid as to fall for such obvious strings of bullshit. It's something like 8% of the population that supports QAnon at this point, and not even half of Republicans think that the election was stolen.

You don’t understand why I think a cult mentality is absurd? You find that normal? Well ok that’s certainly your prerogative. I live in the south and imo the majority of Trump supporters are mentally ill religious zealots and are blatantly in denial about reality (which I suppose you could call those things one in the same).

In saying that (and I’m repeating myself here bc I’ve said this before in other discussions) he managed to have a good term in office and I think he would have done well in a second term. But the fear mongering that anything anti-Trump is now a conspiracy, deep state, traitorous, socialist, anti-American, devil worshiping, or anything else of that nature is not sane and ultimately I think what caused his demise. Well that and the fact that he just didn’t know when to leave well enough alone.

Do I understand why they are the way they are? I go back to fear and/or mental illness.

universal health care? bring it on. mass immigration? fuck no. a country taking care of its own citizens is one thing, we arent obliged to take care of the whole damn world.

cuba has an abundance of doctors, unlike murica, i wager thats why they are dime a dozen there.

I bet your "we" looks a lot different to §m£ÂgØL's "we". The US isn't a cohesive country any more.

a cohesive country doesnt need multiple political parties.
