How do I stop smiling/laughing so much?

2020-12-01 at 2:18 AM UTCI honestly cannot help myself. You're saying hi to me? I will have a big smile on my face and say hi back. You're insulting me? I will start laughing out loud even though I don't want to. I just smile so easily. Just say anything to me in real life and I will smile and/or laugh. It's super annoying, I just want to be able to keep a straight face. Nothing seems to help.

A helpful response, thank you, Zanick. I should mention I saw a 19 year old boy whom was run over during a hit-and-run and he never made it out alive. Saw him twitching his legs and eyelids uncontrollably all the while his head was pouring blood onto the pavement. He was put into a seven-day coma before he died. I was the first on the scene. As you can see, even looking death in the eyes doesn't help. Am I just unfixable? I have to add that I didn't laugh at the incident but it just hasn't affected me to the point I would stop smiling/laughing so much. -

I was actually with my friend. He panicked. Yelled at bystanders to call an ambulance. I calmly told him he had a phone, he should ring them. And he did and they came. But for what? That boy was never going to make it.
