Tomorrow I start a job as a fitter/welder for $13/hr, literally 2 bucks an hour less than what I was making 10 years ago with a year experience. Oh yeah, sliding down the economic ladder, thanks covid.
I imagine the temp agency I'll be working for is taking home the same or more an hour than I am! Hail Capitalists, long live Reagan's America!
I think they get around 1/3rd of the hourly pay. it's weird because for me, My pay was more than what the workers were making because they got medical benefits that the job wasn't offering me.
PS I hope it was temp-to-perm because if they like you, they might drop them and hire you on for more money.
