Minecraft is most popular among ages 20-25, second most popular demographic being late teens. I was 16 when the game came out and I only got into it because it was a popular indie game for late teens and adults on 4chan at the time.
It was never a childrens game. It was inspired by dwarf fortress, one of the most complex difficult games ever made.

At least when you bought it from mojang you could just register the accounts myemail+mc1@gmail.com , myemail+mc2@gmail.com, etc. Microtards won't accept emails like that , I think if you're paying them 25 dollars you shouldn't have to make a new email address for every plural you buy.
now they lose money coz the purchase process is easier on ebay to buy used accounts -

This sucks for anarchy servers because a lot of people use alts on there to play and store their items
Servers like hypixel are happy about this because they get fucked a lot by bots and irl traders. Bots will be gone from minecraft for good by next year. No more 13k weekly bans
This was such a big issue for hypixel that they started making their own minecraft clone just so they could have control over the accounts and be able to ban people for botting.
